How to: Set the gaps used between matrix rows (using C.S.S.)

Change the gaps between matrix items for your entire survey. Note: this does assume a basic understanding of C.S.S., however it is very basic so if you follow the instructions with care, you’ll be ok.

Time: less than 2 minutes. Skill level: Basic C.S.S.
  1. Edit your survey with the page editor.
  2. Open the "Edit C.S.S." popup.
  3. Locate the selectors that affect matrix items.
  4. Changing the first value (of each pair) will set the gap above and below each matrix row. "Matrix1" referers to odd rows and "Matrix2" to even rows. Click the "Update" button when you're done.

That's it! The gaps between all matrix rows in all matrix questions on your survey will have their gap size adjusted accordingly.
