How to: Add a Site Selector to your survey.

To run one survey as multiple surveys where the only difference is the location (e.g. of the store), you can easily do this via our invite system or by asking your responder to select the location from a specially designed Site Selector question.

This is suitable for surveys that are sent out on paper (as opposed to email), where the Site can not be automatically determined before hand; if you can send your invite electronically, we recommend using our invite system instead.

Time: less than 2 minutes. Skill level: All
  1. Open your survey with the page editor:
  2. Locate the position at which you want to ask your responder for the location the survey response relates to and open the toolbar of the item that directly follows it.
  3. Open the template selector popup (we’re looking for the "Site locator" question).
  4. Switch to the “Public templates” tab.
  5. Select the "Site locator" question to add it to your survey.
  6. The "Site locator" question has been added (if you double click it you can change the text of the question to whatever you want).
  7. Save your survey.

That’s it! Now you can easily add locations to the Site Selector using the Survey Sites setup.
