How to: Set a question to be mandatory.

Set a question on your survey to be mandatory so your responder is forced to answer it.

  1. Go to the survey manager page and edit your survey with the page editor.
  2. Open the question wizard selector.
  3. Select the “Select Best One” question. Note: any question can be set as mandatory.
  4. Click the “Show options” button.
  5. Tick the mandatory box.
  6. Click the “Update” button.

That’s it! This question is set to mandatory so your responder will have to answer it. Be aware that the more mandatory questions your survey has, the less likely your responder is to complete it.
