How to: Set the expected number of options for a multiple choice question.

Enforce a minimum (and maximum) number of question options to be answered for a multiple choice question.

  1. Go to the survey manager page and edit your survey with the page editor.
  2. Open the question wizard selector.
  3. Select the “Multiple Choice” question.
  4. Click the “Show options” button.
  5. We want enforce exactly two options as an acceptable answer, so we set both the minimum and the maximum options to 2.
  6. Click the “Update” button.

That’s it! If the responder answers this question they will be required to give exactly two answers.
