Features
  1. Display selected customer feedback comments on your website and win more business! It’s very easy to set up, just cut & paste a little HTML into your webpage and that’s it!
  2. Easy to use, you don’t even need to log in.
Simple tasks like checking individual feedback responses don’t even require you to go to the takesense.com website and log in, you can check individual responses easily and quickly from just one click of a secure link in your email.
    • Frequent tasks have been simplified as much as possible.
  3. Total branding support.
Your takesense.com online survey can be made to represent your brand, as our unique software supports near 100% total branding. So if your brand image is important to you, we can give you a custom built survey for a fraction of the price of getting one developed from scratch – get that big fish look for a small fish price!
If a corporate brand image is not an issue, we also have a wide selection of fantastic pre-designed looks and styles to choose from.
    • Our software lets us produce surveys in virtually any brand.
    • Get that big fish look with your own bespoke survey for a fraction of the normal development cost.
    • Your survey will be accessible to the disabled and conform to UK disability discrimination laws.
  4. Research shows that a survey with a prize draw is far more likely (about 50% more likely) to get responses than a survey without, so we’ve built a special question you can add to your survey to increase your response rates - we give out the prize money and you get better results!
  5. Our “friendly survey ID” feature will turn the hard to remember internet address for your survey, into one you can give out with your invoices, for example:
This means you don’t need to know your customer’s email address to send them an invite to your survey – plus we can link their response to a valid email address and invoice number (so you can track them), example:
  6. If you want to use the same survey to get feedback from different sites (e.g.: stores, hotels, vehicles, depots, etc.), then the Survey Sites feature allows the feedback received to be stored and treated separately.
You would need to use the Survey Sites feature if you want to use our response invite system, either automatically via our Point of Sale (POS) web service or manually via our Site Selector and Unique ID questions on your survey(s).
The other feature that uses the Survey Sites functionality is the "Base to branch" feature.
    • Store feedback separately for each site.
    • A Survey Site can be anything you like - e.g.: a hotel, a restaurant, a store, a depot, an aeroplane, or even an individual person!
    • Although entirely optional, you will require them if you want to use sites with our response invite system, either automatically via our POS web service or manually via our Site Selector and Unique ID questions.
  7. Organise your customer satisfaction employees into User Groups for quicker response times to your customers’ feedback, for example: by geographical region (the South-West, the North, etc.).
This allows feedback to be handled on a much quicker regional basis, rather than having everything sent to one location.
  8. For businesses with more than one outlet, e.g. a head office and individual outlets - the takesense.com feedback system can be easily configured to send a read only copy of feedback to the relevant outlet as well as the main copy going back to a central location. See the Survey Sites page to configure.
    • All branch feedback goes to a central location with an extra read only copy going to each appropriate branch.
    • We can route your survey responses to multiple addresses at individual branches; a central location (head office) or both.
    • Secure, honest feedback, direct to your inbox.
    • See also: "More feedback using our prize draw entry question". More...
  9. Password restricted surveys.
As an optional security feature we can configure your survey to demand a password before a response can be submitted, so only customers you give the password to can answer it.
    • Password restricted survey.
  10. We can also configure your survey to use various security methods to restrict one response per user (One Response Only) to stop duplicate responses. We are happy to discuss survey security methods with you. The methods features we currently provide are:
    • Enforce one response using browser cookies.
    • Enforce one response using a unique ID (e.g. an invoice number, vehicle registration, account number, etc.).
    • Enforce one response using a verified email address.
  11. Response filtering.
If you log into the website there is a sophisticated and very easy to use response filtering tool that allows for the extraction of specific data, e.g. pull responses that had question one answered as option a).
    • Easy to use response filtering.
  12. You can download your data in either C.S.V. format or X.M.L. for use in virtually any third party reporting software. Use C.S.V. format for use in you favourite spread sheet (e.g. MS Excel) , or X.M.L for use in just about any thing else.
    • Data can easily be imported into your own database so you can run your own analyses.
    • Data can be downloaded and used in most third party reporting programs.
  13. Integrate your point of sale software with takesense.com to invite your customers to respond to your survey automatically.
For example: at the point of sale your computer system tells takesense.com to allow feedback from a customer with the invoice number specified (and held open for the period specified). This means you can tightly control who can send you feedback; in this example your customer would have to have a valid invoice number and (optionally) complete your feedback within the specified time limit.
  14. We support multiple surveys collecting responses simultaneously, i.e. there’s no requirement for your account to only run one survey at a time - so you can run different language versions of the same survey all at once. Alternatively you could run a short and a long version of the same survey or two entirely different surveys (one for your customers and one for your employees).
  15. Your survey can run in any language - even multiple languages - so you can reach those who may not read or write your language.
    • Multi-lingual surveys.
    • Offer your responder a choice of languages.
  16. We can translate your survey for you so you can reach all your customers where ever they are. And we can also translate your responses so you can understand what they’re saying!
We are a very frequent and consequently large customer of one of the best translation services companies on the planet. This means you can trust their translations because we use them ourselves and that we get good prices due to our volume use, which we pass on to you.
    • Translations from / to almost any language.
    • All translations are done by native educated people and are double checked by a second translator; we’re very happy with them and are sure you will be too.
    • No minimum word charge - all translation services have a minimum word charge (per language), but by using our service we can negate this issue for you. So 30 words translated into another language will cost 30 words – not 400 or 500 as some would have you pay.
  17. If you have multiple surveys which are just different language versions of the same survey, link them all into one group to see all the responses combined together.
    • All filtering and statistics can be performed on the combined data set.
    • Download the combined data to your database for your own analyses.
  18. A Survey Site Code is the internal code we give to a Survey Site, so if you entered the “London branch office” as a Survey Site we might give it the number “123”.
An “Integrated Survey Site Code” means you can use your own coding system to reference Survey Sites – so in the above example you might want to say the code for “London branch office” is “lon-001”, so when you export your responses it matches your coding system.
    • We match your company’s naming system for your company’s outlets.
    • Most alphabets supported.
